POM Productions takes special pride in its capacity to develop and deliver Entertainment-Education in Papua New Guinea. Entertainment-Education (a part of the Behaviour Change Communication toolkit) focuses on using the power of Entertainment across broadcast (and other) media as a platform to attract an audience to a message, and to deliver that message powerfully, so as to increase awareness, knowledge and to help bring about change in attitudes and behaviour.

We use the Entertainment-Education process to purposively design and implement a message both to Entertain and Educate in order to increase awareness, knowledge and to help bring about change in attitudes and behaviour.

In addition to filmmaking skills, our behaviour change communications team has tertiary graduate and post-graduate qualifications in Linguistics & Communication, Psychology, Education, and of course Fine Arts, Theatre Arts & Music.
